Infrastructure
Move from Forge or Ploi
Read your servers and sites from Laravel Forge or Ploi and recreate them here, one site at a time.
-
1
Connect
Infrastructure → Servers → Move from Forge or Ploi. Paste an API token from Forge (Account → API tokens) or Ploi (Profile → API keys). It’s only read from, and stored encrypted; Forget the token removes it and everything read.
-
2
What’s read
Each server’s sites with their domain, repository, branch, PHP version, environment file and deploy script, and the server’s cron jobs and daemons.
-
3
Move a site
Choose one of your servers here and Move. A website is created for the domain with the same environment file, and the cron jobs and daemons that run in the site’s directory are added to the new server, pointed at the new directory and run as its user. Any that don’t fit, such as an unusual schedule, are listed for you to add yourself.

4
Finish
Connect the repository in Deploy and deploy once, copy the database and uploaded files across, then point DNS at the new server. Nothing changes in Forge or Ploi, so the old site keeps serving until DNS moves.
