Security

Firewall, bots and attacks

Cloudflare protection for your zones, and automatic blocking of attackers.

  1. 1

    Zones

Security → Firewall lists the Cloudflare zones behind the project’s domains (their DNS must be managed at Cloudflare through BuildPusher).

  2. 2

    Security level and bots

On the Team plan, choose how suspicious a visitor must look before Cloudflare checks them, and turn on bot fight mode to challenge known bots and scrapers.

  3. 3

    Under attack

During an attack, turn on Under attack mode: every visitor gets a short check before reaching the site. Turn it off again afterwards.

  4. 4

    Per domain

Blocking countries or addresses and rate limits stay on each website’s Domains tab, under CDN and firewall.

  5. 5

    Automatic blocking

On Pro and above, Security checks each website’s access log every five minutes and blocks addresses in the server’s firewall after 20 failed sign-ins, 10 requests for known vulnerable paths (such as /.env) or 3,000 requests in ten minutes. Security → Attacks shows who’s blocked, lets you unblock someone, and sets how long blocks last and which addresses are never blocked.
